So recently a Czech politician found unclaimed land from the Croatia/Serbia border dispute and decided to make a state called Liberland. The premise of the entire state is essentially libertarian ideology. Voluntary taxes, government only to create law and order and to protect borders, and citizenship open to anyone who isn't a communist or neonazi. Personally I find this fascinating simply on premise and the fact that it's actually happening. I'd love to see this libertarian experiment work out in a big way but being recognized as a sovereign state is distant goal.
